Alerts & Approvals
Push notifications that ask, not just announce
At a glance
- ▸ Every order gets a one-screen explanation + Approve / Reject
- ▸ SIP failure alerts surface the reason, not just the failure
- ▸ Drift threshold breach gets a push within minutes, not at end-of-day
- ▸ Inactive-user nudges are bounded (no spammy growth loop)
- ▸ All alerts archived in-app with timestamps for the audit trail
What it does
Push notifications are usually a growth-hacking tool. Sthira uses them as the consent surface. Every action the platform proposes — a rebalance, a SIP retry, an order — arrives as a push with the full context and an Approve / Reject pair right there.
The notifications are calm. There’s no “your portfolio is bleeding!” screaming. The phrasing is closer to: “Your equity allocation has drifted to 76% (target 70%). Proposed rebalance: sell ₹12,000 of Equity Index Fund, buy ₹12,000 of Short-Term Debt Fund. Within your pre-authorized bounds. [Approve] [Reject].”
If you reject, Sthira logs the rejection and doesn’t propose the same action again for a configurable cooldown.
